"How much can it cost?"

If I read that correctly, you are looking to buy the name?
Or are you looking for the community appraisal?

If you already own it and are asking for an appraisal, I would suggest that you consider building it out.

**I have not done any research on the name or any type of competitive business(es) that may or may not already exist out there.**

I would try to make it something akin to a music streaming site where maybe indie musicians come an upload their music for free downloads +/- ?

Maybe even a pay site if you were to make it large enough.

The other natural choice would be to try selling it to a music store but you may be limiting your potential there. I am not sure the normal operating budget for many music stores as MOST seem to be local by nature and therefore probably do not have a large budget (if any) to be spent on domain names.

Other then that, I like the name. I have no musical experience what so ever, but I like it.

If I were to hazard a guess, I would probably say... mid $xxx to low $xxxx (of course this is all hypothetical based on my lack of knowledge of what I think the budget for a music store would have to spend on a domain name).

My bad. Yes, I own it. Eflat- music? Really? Flat means a condo or apartment in most English speaking countries. I'd wager real estate is the best topic for this

In 1990s there was a site about flat tires, lol

I have not heard anyone refer to real estate when using the word flat here in the USA. I was under the impression that it was common in the UK though.

Things I think of with the word flat. = Flat Tire. Flat as a pancake. Flat broke.

Also e flat could also refer to the musical note of "e flat".

I will say first thing came to mind for me was music.

'Flat' as it applies to dwellings has no use to the USA .COM namespace; which is where the issue lies with this name.

eFlat.co.uk - that's a pretty good name.

The only time I have ever said 'flat' in that context is when I throw on my British accent and tell my 'mates' to take the 'roundabout' over to my 'flat' for a 'fancy dress party' with the other 'chaffs' in the 'estate'.

Sorry, but Eflat is most commonly used as a musical tone; so if a music store really wanted it the might pay a few hundred dollars. Music stores are usually very small operations unless they are a large national chain.

I wouldn't reg this name for any more than a $20 - $69 dropcatch.

Well this could be a valuable domain. I think a five letter domain name is always a good catch.

The thing is, .com is not "USA" namespace. In the very UK you mentioned most of the top 500 websites are .coms. I am sure it's the same way in India, Australia, South Africa , Singapore and wherever else flat means condo/apartment.

You have all the answers eh?

Why ask the question if you are just going to respond to everyone with your nonsense?

Read up on Holiday.com and their recent issues with their sale and having a different meaning in the UK than in the US.

What nonsense? Are you talking about English language or popularity of .coms internationally? What is nonsense to you.
