hello anomolad, welcome
eclipse horizon is a very cool name ...
... but I don't think it will fetch any $$$ from resellers - it doesn't exactly scream "buy me! sell me!" (and thus joins many other very cool domain names with unfortunately limited commercial potential as "pure play" domain trades.)
From the approximately 300 Google search results for "eclipse horizon" I see that this domain was previously regged and then eventually dropped in September 2006.
There is (apparently) also a company in the UK named Eclipse Horizon Ltd. - or at least there was at some point in time. But even if they're still around, prospects of making an end-user sale involving their own potential TM (trademark) name is dicey at best - approaching them with a direct offer to sell them their own name might just give them ammunition (evidence of "bad faith" action) to sue you for it!
So ... if you like the name on its own merits (as I do), and can afford the renewal fee for just the .com, then I'd say it's at least worth reg fee, and would make a very nice name for a blog - which might actually pay for itself via adsense ads ... or not. But it is a cool name, a bit cooler than most in my opinion - memorable enough (at least for science-oriented demographic) - worth keeping just to see what you might be able to do with it ... and who knows, you might catch a bid for it from someone who likes the sound of it - though that's a long shot to expect in any reasonably short amount of time!
keep your expectations for $$$ low for these sorts of "brandable" domains and you won't be disappointed (and won't make the mistake of regging or buying too many of them as "investments") - definitely pick up a few that appeal to your taste & instinct, but just for fun / potential development. They won't be easy sales to make to resellers - or end users either, 999 times out of 1000.
Just my opinion really, I don't have a huge amount of experience selling domains other than commodity LLLL.com critters, but from this limited experience would still say with some confidence that most "cool techie brandable vibe" domains really can be a tough sale to make, even for a few bucks just to recoup the registration fee!
