echolima.com gone. Wise to initial transfer for domain there ?

I have a domain there at echolima.com

but i think the site is down. and maybe it's gone.

it is wise to initiate a transfer at Godaddy for my domain register at echolima.com ???

Might as well give it a shot. Was Echolima a real registrar or a reseller of something like WWD or Enom? Knowing this could make all of the difference in the world.
