Ebay Scammer

There was an auction on Ebay last week for a 3-letter .com UIK.com

I bid on the auction and was the highest bidder. I then sent the seller an email to ask him to send me an email from the Who is record before I can send the payment.

I did not hear aything from him for a day. I then send an email to the email address from Who is record and found out that the auction is fraud.

I reported to Ebay what I found from the real owner. Ebay delete the item and offer no explaination as what they found out.

The ebay seller name was uk-hosting.

Be careful - Do not send money to someone who you do not know.

I did not pay - Got burned several times so I always check ownership (email and phone from Registrant from Who is record) before making payment.

Tx Johnn. Sorry it didn't work out for you. That would have been a very nice acquisition at that price. With 17,576 3LL .coms out there, there must be oppurtunities for deals that are legitimate, that come around from time to time.

You just need to be carefull -

I bought (3) 3-letter .com and (80) 3-letter .net from Ebay in the past 2 months with no problems.

You just need to verify the ownership by email AND phone before sending payment.
