You must give!
I placed a bid casually on the following ebay ad:
Ebay ad here
and I won! at 15 dollars. As you can see it is a very poorly written posting, but whats for sale is pretty clear. 45 domains! Sigh, but of course an email comes that says:
"Funny :) $15 ... only diamond.gs price can be $680.000... ok ... it is 60 domains ... i want funny $6000 for all it is $100 for one domain... it is business, shop, wine, diamond, and more best domains look for search results... it was 3 mounths wark 15 polish informatics... $6000 and all 60 domains are your .. we are waiting 2 hours and we quit from funny $15 ebay earn from domains..."

Whaatt! >:o first of all terrible english, and there basically saying i get nothing
So whatever happened to following the rules on ebay?...What should i do from here, try and fight for the domains, just report him?
15 bucks but what a jerk

Beware ebay user : falkodomains
you pay and they dont give you the domain unless they think youve paid enough

Re

The listing is for ownership of the domains listed, which i won..
and as i understand it, if the bidding were to exceed 5k then those two domains where to be added on...

Only now that ive won and its much less than expected their saying i basically get nothing...

they were expecting 4,000 dollars! wow

Considering hes a brand new seller - I wouldnt expect him to be worried about tarnishing his reputation with bad feedback...

Let it go.. the world is full of people like this.

Sorry to hear it :(

Looks like just another Idiot on Ebay scamming people to me.

I wonder why people still quote how many results there are for un-quoted search terms on google also ... It means nothing at all - I guess it looks good to someone :|

I wish I could give you some words of wisdom to resolve this , But Ebay/Square Trade/Paypal are all JOKES when It comes to Real Disputes IMO - The feedback system is a joke as well ...

Live and Learn I suppose

if it was too good to be true AND the ebay seller has no history of positive feedback then it was a guaranteed not-going-to-happen

What a dirtbag. I hate it when seller's don't put a reserve on their auctions and then are offended when the item sells for much less than they expected. If you leave a negative, they'll probably give you one back. The feedback system really is a joke.

I just sold 31 domains on Ebay about a week ago and they sold for $10.50 total. I didn't put a reserve because I wasn't going to renew any of them, but I expected more bidding, but reality is another thing. I pushed them all within minutes of payment. You win some, you lose some. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220104027480

Agreed..

In his recent listing here:
Listing

Lets view his incredible logic...
Sex.com ($14,000,000) -
2. Business.com ($7,500,000) -
3. Diamond.com ($7,500,000) -

$14m+$7.5m+$7.5m = SexBusinessDiamond.com ($29,000,000) Ebay 2007

ha, but can it all be so simple? Now thats what you call a swiftappraisal!
But yes indeed, hopefully this is not indicative of ebay domain sellers...and much respect to the person who actually gave the domains he said he would in his listing...even given the circumstances

Sorry to tell you Pay Pal does not reverse money for domains, as they say domains are not a tangible product.

Give it a try, you can still get the money back as you have not recieved the item, I have had a paypal reverse, minus a dollar, for a non tangible good after not actually recieve it, it takes a week for the complaint to go through as they give a week communication time for the seller to ignor you,

then they look into it, if the seller does not respond to the messages put him down and fight your case as if you were talking to the wall and you should get it
