I saw it was available and reg'd it.

E--Q.com

I'm into earthquakes and natural disasters, etc, so I thought it would be great for an earthquake website, forum or blog. The two dashes in the name could represent the wavy lines of the Richter Scale.

I know it's not worth too much now but I really like it.

What do ya think?

Enjoy your double hyphen domain.

As I always say, when one has to explain the domain, it is not worth owning.

Well I bought it more for fun. Plus L--L.com sales have been good to me, I would say give it a try but there are only 676 total L--L.com's, so it's not always easy to find one of good quality that is available to hand reg. but there are a few from time to time. I think it's all about the two letters. But again, this one was for fun because I'm into geology and earthquakes.

I'm not sure the domain has any value beyond reg. fee to most resellers in current market conditions but I really like your idea for it. As an alternative, you could also make a logo like E-/-Q with a stylized jagged slash representing a fault line and the -Q situated slightly lower than the E- on the other side. The hyphens of course represent smaller cracks emanating from the fault line. That could look pretty impressive!

Another option that immediately stands out is Emotional Quotient (for Emotional Intelligence tests). In this case, each hyphen could be curved slightly, one representing a happy face, the other sad.

So many fun development ideas for these. All the best with it!

One hyphen is an issue and two consecutive hyphens are a pain. The only people who maybe interested in such types of names are domainers and unfortunately they don't consider q a premium letter.

I wouldn't waste my time and energy on developing such names. :)

xx reseller. Highly probably a sell here

and

xxx to low x,xxx in the case a company wants it as acronym. This is not sure that will happen. Personally don't see it so probably although could be

IMHO

Good luck
