domain dumb*org appraisal

I've had dumb(dot)org since '98. Over the years I have had countless offers from people to buy it, but never considered it until someone mentioned that I might get some big money for it.

What do you believe it is worth?

Wow, great domain. Don't settle for less than Mid $xx,xxx. If you don't need the soon, keep it another decade or more! The value should only increase.

I disagree from grina.
I think reseller price for dumb.org is around mid-high $x,xxx, ALSO on namepros.
End-user price could reach low $xx,xxx very easily.
Excellent domain name, hold it some other years if you don't need money now.

I disagree, I dont really see it selling for the figures you are all saying, yes, its a good short .org, but I dont see it easy finding an end-user for the name

No obvious end-users jump out at me with this name

I think it could sell somewhere up to the low $X,XXX range. I am not sure this word fits the extension all that well, at least not to sell for numbers some have quoted.

I agree - it's a good name, but how good? How could it be monetized to justify a price tag of xx,xxx? Also as previously mentioned, dumb does not fit the extension that well.

I Think you should create an organization for dumb people and have articles examples
and a mabye even a faq to determine how dumb the comments they make really are and mabye brand the term dumb.org (such as when someone says something stupid reply dumb.org and laugh)

I appreciate everybody's input. From what I've read, my range is anywhere from $XXX to $XX,XXX with no certainty what-so-ever. Ha!

I am a person who has very little faith in our economy, and not because of our current situation. I sort of predicted this current melt-down in an essay i wrote about 4 years ago... so, I had foresight in that area, but none in the fact that my domain might be worth a good deal of money.

I'd be willing to take $XX,XXX for it, which I'd put in foreign banks immediately. I don't think I'd take $X,XXX for it though, even in the 9s. Had it for over ten years now.

The only end user I could think of for this is a Dumb Friends League kind of organization. But getting them to pay for it.... not gonna happen. They run on shoestring budgets as it is.

It would be dumb to believe it will sell for xx,xxx considering the relevance to the extension.
