Dubai Goldrush Will Continue for a Long, Long Time!!

MY GAWD!!! I was just doing some in depth research on the net about some of the projects going on in Dubai. No wonder you are buying up Dubai domains like crazy! They are spending over $90,000,000,000 on some of the most incredible projects in world history. Here are a few:

-Dubailand. Will be the largest entertainment complex in the world when completed. Twice the size of Disneyland. Do a google search to get some pictures of this one. It is mindblowing.

-Burj Dubai. Will be the tallest most beautiful building in the world when completed in '08.

-Dubai Marina. A $10 billion project that will house 120,000 people and be a city unto itself.

-Dubai Sports City. A massive super modern sports complex that will also contain hotels and condos.

-Dubai ski dome. Largest indoor ski resort in the world. All kinds of snow sports here as well as spas and much more.

-Madinat Al Arab. An entire futuristic world being created on the seafront in Dubai.

-Hydropolis. An underwater hotel!

-Old Town. Located a foot of Burj Dubai. Will include largest shopping center in the world as well as a beautiful redidential area.

-Space Science World. Part of Dubailand. An entire world devoted to space travel.

And that is just a sample. There is much much more being developed. I have not been domaining all that long so when I went to register some names most real good ones were taken. However, I think I got one of the last real good, short domain names that should sell for some good cash considering the job boom all this is creating. DubaiTemps.com. It is short, easy to remember and covers a huge market: temp jobs, and many full time jobs, since many full timers in Dubai are actually only long term temp workers.

To conclude, it should be clear that the goldrush in Dubai will be going strong for a long, long time to come. Dubai domain names will do great and should be a part of every domainers portfolio.

It's crazy in Dubai, I've been here basically for the last 4 months and the scale of development is like nothing I've ever seen. I remember thinking that Las Vegas was impressive, but Las Vegas is nothing compared to Dubai.

At times the 24 hour construction gets to you though.

What are the human rights like over there? From what I read the population is like 80% foreign workers and 90% of the workforce, but their human rights record is a little scary.. so when you go to work there are you basically taking a risk just to cash in on all these multi-billion dollar projects going on?

Looking at the lives of residents in Dubai compared to the laborers things look dismal, if you are talking about executive / administrative / managerial level there is virtually no risk.

They will just build a giant levy / condo development I'm sure.

Yep, a huge amount of amazing projects going on, things will really get going in 2010 when many of the bigger projects should be finished.

These guys are going nuts there...they're building a map of the entire world in the form of islands, so that rich people can have their own 'slice of the world'.

Its scary...where did the simple life go?

I have lotsa friends here from Dubai
They tell me that the Sheiks in Dubai are the only ones in the entire Middle East to understand that their oil resources wont last, so they need to create alternative sources of revenue
So all the Dubai Sheiks invested all their oil money in creating the biggest cross between Las Vegas and Singapore.
Heck, Las Vegas is NOTHING compared to Dubai. A casino shaped like a Pyramid? Thats NOTHING. How about an underwater city?

Dubai is frankly just making fantasies come alive.

That might seem like fun to most people, but to me, it seems like a very very disturbing trend. If Las Vegas was the physical manifestation of hedonism and bacchanalia, then Dubai is the epitome of the commercialization of humanity. Thats DIONYSUS FOR SALE for you. How low can you get?
Heck, I hate domaining...(thats not me, thats Kafka talking...being a writer has its lows...).
