Dubai domains worth?

Hello,

For now I am in Dubai and it's really confusing me buying few Dubai domains like now I own:

Dubai Cars . com

Do you think having these type of domains really worth alot or just a normal domain? Cars market in Dubai $11 billion.

Thinking of buying more but need advice from pro members here.

I think you would need to develop the site, but disclaimer: I know nothing about the dubai market for domains. Do they use .com's or their own cctld locally.

.ae (United Arab Emirates) tends to be the standard. I've seen businesses grab both the .com and ccTLD when possible, though. Dubai and similar developing regions in that area stick to their own ccTLD as they are trying to promote themselves as much as possible. One of these ways of promotion is obviously by utilizing their own resources.

I believe they applied for the gTLD .Dubai as well. Not too sure on what to expect from that as far as popularity goes, however.
