Was keeping an eye on the NAPK.com auction, which was supposed to be NAPC which wasnt really for sale either, by member @Genese
https://www.namepros.com/threads/napk-com-napkin-sold-for-18k.1059412/

He is not the owner, simply saw the name for sale,
assumed a identity here similar to the actual owner, http://www.afternic.com/domain/napk.com
then attempts to market it here.
His comments
Its funny when people accuse of you consequences when you have done nothing wrong and if i wanted i could have just not replied .

The truth is that i list domains before buying them to see if they have demand if the demand is there i purchase the domain and then sell abit like drop shipping

There is nothing more to it for example pinkstore was on auction i listed it here to see if people wanted or is hot property if i got offers i would have purchased and sold it here
http://www.namejet.com/Pages/Auctions/BackorderDetails.aspx?domainname=pinkstore.com

https://www.namepros.com/threads/pinkstore-com.1059397/
https://www.namepros.com/threads/pinkstore-com.1042529/

So thats all really the model of dropshipping applied to domains its nothing wrong if you are going to buy and then sell it here

The truth is that i list domains before buying them to see if they have demand

Obviously not the first time you have used this approach to make a living.

How does other members feel about dropshipping domains? @Eric Lyon @Kenny @creataweb ?

Luckily NP doesn't allow this scammy way of auctioning names.

I guess it could work elsewhere but not a very good idea probably.

Thank you for summarizing all the BS I went through with @Genese on that NAPK thread. I am glad you monitored it... as my brain is fried from the whole thing. He admitted everything he did in his NAPK thread as well as my PM conversation with him. Eric has it all, I assume. Hope he is gone for good... what a scammer....

I also call it front running domains... which he was doing

That's not drop shipping. Drop shipping is what I do through Name Silo. I list a name in their market place. I have to be the owner, and the name needs to be active and registered with them. When somebody pays the BIN price for the name, NS accepts the money on my behalf, and delivers the name without contacting me. It's a great system, and it is what I understand as drop shipping as applied to domain names.

Listing names you don't own seems to be unethical at best, and I suspect it could leave you open to prosecution for fraud if you accept payment. AfterNick (sic) seems to support this, and it is why I have started adding buttons to my landers stating that I do not under any circumstances use Afternick.

This. It is front-running. There is no comparison with dropshipping.
Thanks for the heads-up.
