I'm new to websites and need tool that will help me create simple and more complex pages. I know about DW 8 or Frontpage 2003. I was going to go with FP as it seems to be more user friendly but then realized its been discontinued and replaced with something else (Expression Web?).

Will I be overwhelmed with DW8 or it is easy enough to use for beginners and pros alike?

Thanks

dw8 is easy to use by begginers and pros imo. it may take a bit to learn how to use it properly, but it is worth, as when you start to progrss in web building, you have a lot more tools at your disposal.

DW 8 is your best choice...try to stay away from the templates and all as you don;t really learn anything. Use the Code interface and use css as much as possible (it's quite easy once you get the concept) css layout hint: Think boxes :)

Between Dreamweaver 8 help guides, and this site here (htmlgoodies.com) you should be able to conquer just about anything.

Do NOT get front page, its for your own good.

Best of luck!

I have been using the beta expression for a few months now.......

Those boys at microsoft are edging closer to being a DW clone.
