Dreamhost driving me mad

Anybody else with Dreamhost suffering? Last night, I could not access any of my databases. Tonight, none of my websites are loading. Only been with them a week or so!

Is anybody else's site working with DH?

All my websites are with Dreamhost and I'm not having problems with them at the moment. Did you check your site's/database's status in your panel? They respond really fast to downtime issues.

Yeah, I checked all the statuses and their support is good. But whenever they reply, that problem is gone and a new one arises. For example, the websites work now, but the FTP is lagging.

I'm glad that I am not hosting with Dreamhost. I narrowed it down between Dreamhost and Site5.

I think Dreamhost does have some good servers in the flock, but they are getting pounded, and will probably not sustain their dying service for too much longer.

Dreamhost is getting good reviews by people who are looking to capitalize on their killer affiliate program. But even though the affiliate program is making affiliates a lot of money, they could at least lower their plans down and stop overloading their servers.

If anyone needs questions answered about Site5, just let me know and I will answer almost any question that you need.

They have so many outages with email. Sometimes with dns too. It is a pain in the arse to have to stop everything at random intervals. They do fix the problems relatively quick, but why are they having so many problems to begin with? I was baited by the low price...again. I hope they don't turn from a dream to a nightmare.

I also host with hostgator. I have no problems with them.
