Just got this email,
Dear Customer,
The following domains are set to expire within 60 days. You can renew them now.

...Domain Here...

Then all the legal rubbish, just a normal renewal notice (except it's a domini I sold ages ago).

Then down the side it says "Is your info current?", and it's got the the guy (who bought it off me) email, name, address, all his info...

Shall I just send in a message to Dotster, or do they usually make a mess like this?

Maybe its just spam to attract you to their registar?

Nah, probably not.

Report this to them then.

Your email address may still be listed as global whois admin contact.

You should always change your whois info before you sell a domain.

I always make sure I change the info before I sell a name.

If your info is still listed somewhere in that domain name, Dotster's just going
to tell you to:

a) Log inside your account (if you still have access) and change it. Or,

b) Tell you to contact the domain's current owner (if you don't have access
anymore) and "fix" it.

Registrars take domain registration records at face value except when they
receive a WHOIS complaint and don't get any response.
