What .gurus Do You Have?
P.S. I have no .guru domains..

I was laughing when people were buying .mobi domains, .asia .tel .co .eu .xxx etc etc.
There is no opportunity for you. The opportunity is for the registrars and the registries. You are at the end of the food chain. You are entitled to your own opinion but you should check on the facts before discouraging others from finding new opportunity.
No I didn't buy any. Yet these domains look almost good when compared to .guru...You burnt your fingers with .Mobi, .Asia, .Tel, .Eu gTLDs but were you buying the very best of them? Are you still in denial?![]()
Again, these sales are isolated cases and not representative. Have you noticed you posted old sales because the hype has gone long ago. But there is always somebody left holding the bag...The very best of these mobi/asia/tel/eu have sold handsomely and I am not quoting 2-3 domains in isolation. Here are some sale stats (and I am still quoting only a few):
"The person say it cannot be done. Should not interrupt the person doing it." Chinese Proverb (Thanks for Owen for sharing)
I launched Company.Guru for marketing our services yesterday, received a few registrations already. Nice return of investment for a marketing page.
People who are laughing at new gTLDs will soon be laughing at themselves. There is no need to listen to people with negative outlook. I say new gTLDs are great and soon the prices of some long tail keyword .COMs will come crashing down when Google includes these new gTLDs in their search algorithm.
Domain sales data clearly shows that all domains that make sense sell well irrespective of their extensions. Looking at a few sales:
FR.cc sold for $50k
Call.me sold for $26k
Mortgage.asia sold for $23k
Consider this:
Why would a company buy InsuranceXyzAbc.com when it could simply buy Insurance.guru widening the scope of its business?
Some of new gTLDs greatly enhance the SEO value; ask youself:
How is a HealthGuru.com better than Health.Guru?
How is a FitnessGuru.com better than Fitness.Guru?
My shiny .GURU domains: :bah:
777.guru
Christ.guru
Oh boy. This thread makes me jealous of the registries.
@sdsinc, I think your view on new gTLDs is delusional, probably the aftereffect of too many marijuana domains floating around.
Anyway, let's rest this debate here itself and let others showcase their .GURU domains here. :music:

It's a new opportunity. new business for us. But I also believe that domains are not created equal, some will fail but some will succeed. In every small business, budget is always tight so keep it under control.

And for my personal blog, I am nowhere close to a GURU but I registered anyway because the dot com is a million to purchase. I'm happy happy happy![]()
Congrats for the great name! Great website you developed there. Was the website designed inhouse or you got it done by someone else?
I been looking for someone to develop similar one page websites.

Here are three other domains of mine:
Host .guru
Holidays .guru
Resorts .guru
i think its hilarious you quote mobi prices from 2007-2008....this was the height of their hype. try quoting prices from today. you couldn't sell the best of keywords for more than a few grand...just look at flowers.mobi. sold for 185k in 2006...then 5k in 2012.
