What can I say, I have DotComs.mobi so I have to like it.

Some one would have grabbed it eventually why not you. All of the other top extensions are taken for dot-com.tld so why not?

Personally I have 1 hyphenated .mobi and thats probably it for me. Maybe one more I have an eye on, but I highly doubt it.

Hyphenated domains in any extension are just not that popular. However, when and if .mobi catches fire you should be able to easily turn a profit.
