Damn. At Namespro I put a min bid on a last name that didn't make it in your list and I was the high bidder. So I thought I got lucky but I just checked and BareMetal got it.

Oh well, there's always next week

To Be Released (TBR) .CA Results & Leftovers for March 25, 2020

The TBR numbers increased well into the 8K range, a big departure from the 5K fiasco of 2 weeks ago, and although premiums were not prevalent, the sheer numbers were extremely high and probably resulted in the jump in selections. The Top 10 Picks included a few notable domains such as...

I know this is completely offtopic, I hope the mods will allow it considering the strange times. Canadians need us right now to stock their shelves.

I'm doing some sales prospecting for my carrier PacificCoast.ca

We are mostly stuck in the Lower Mainland. The grocery chains have their distribution centres (DC's) in Calgary,Edmonton,Regina. There is very little freight to move us east right now, no containers from China and the local manufacturers have shut down for COVID isolation. It costs about $700 in fuel from Vancouver to Calgary, the same to Edmonton and around $1100 to Regina.

We have 50 trucks, 80 trailers- tridems,tandems-reefers,heaters, dryvans and a dozen container chassis. Haacp certified. 60,000 sq ft of warehouse.

If you know anyone in logistics/supply please forward them my info. I don't post it on a public forum lightly.

To Be Released (TBR) Weekly .CA Picks for April 1, 2020

The .CA numbers may have increased for the 3rd week in a row, but itโ€™s slim pickings in terms of truly premium domains. The quantity is a bit better than average, but most of the good stuff is relegated to the LLL camp, and overall this is still a step down from last weekโ€™s domain crop. This weekโ€™s Top Picks list includes...

Check out the LLLs!

It was pretty weak, but I guess everyone being at home drove up demand, as I couldn't even pick up any scraps.

144 picks on that list?

Hey, I didn't do bad today - the Top 7 picks were all from the Top Picks list

LOL I saw that one the TBR, but didn't feel it was high-end enough to include on the Big List.

Obviously I was right. :xf.grin:

To Be Released (TBR) .CA Results & Leftovers for April 1, 2020

The TBR numbers increased almost into the 9K range, and that horrible 5K fiasco is now almost a memory. Even so, the quality was not great this week and although the quantity partially made up for it, there were really no true premiums on the list and I chock up at least some of the 144 picks to cabin fever. Our Top Picks list was pretty spot-on, with it covering the top 7 selections, including...

It's a Cabin-Fever-Buying-Frenzy!

strange how when you own/list a domain it is looked on as dingy and you can't even get a low ball offer. but when it is dropped and ends up on a tbr list it somehow acquires a shine and goes 24th. or is picked up in the leftovers. jus' sayin'.

(quickly looks to see what went 24th.... EXPERTLY.CA)

This is the false-allure of the drop lists, they all just exude raw potential and the sky's the limit. Like those old game shows where people would already own a great prize, but the "unknown potential" of Box #2 would cause them to trade it for a pile of clothes hangers.

Granted, there are some winners, but you need to do some research to separate the wheat from the chaff.
