Domain Brothers and emall have a number of the same domains. I found MapleSyrup.ca (hehe of course ) on both sites.

Either its the same guys or they are sharing a database of names.

Looks very fishy that ONE group is doing all the reporting.

I don't know anything about either, but they do both have reports in this - it seems that Domain Brothers report the ones under $10k and Email the others.

I checked the about for Domain Brothers, and they say it is Kartik Mehta and Jay Mehta. I can find a street address, but no names on the about for the other.

Has anyone tried selling with them?

Yes, the other company is based in Montreal.

@MapleDots , I am not sure how posting it somewhere like here makes it more 'checked'. The sales are listed on Namebio database, so I presume documentation was provided. They announce on their company page (via the blog) that they worked with another group/company in completing the deals. They gave the date, domain names and prices. It seems to me more confirmed than many we see on here.

Anyway, we should all be happy that some .ca are selling for good prices!

Yup, I am happy .ca is having its day but I have seen a lot of false reporting in the days I have done domaining. Someone says domain sold for xx amount but it was only said to spur momentum.

It just that all the names were sold by two companies who share databases. I am happy and I hope all is above board but checking facts when something new is reported is just due prudence. Trust me that false sales have been reported to namebio and I want to make sure it is not just shuffling from one account to another to create momentum.

I am hoping to see the end users and I was a bit surprised at loto which is a great 4 letter but in most applications would be lotto.

Loans is a no brainer, like casino it is a cash cow, no question about it.

It will be interesting to see what happens at these two companies moving forward. I would never accuse them of anything I just want to make sure all the facts are checked before I do the happy dance because sales like this are great for me. I own hundreds of 4 letters and a couple of sales like these give me great inspiration.
