I was watching the auction. I think it’s one of the bigger .ca TBR sales this year. Maybe the biggest. Who do you think got it? I have an idea but not sure...... Or maybe the mysterious MyId “black hole” won another.

This is getting weird, Sibername's TBR + Backorder section has been offline all weekend.

They're either doing maintenance (but why not a "under maintenance" page?) or their IT weekend guys are sleeping and about to get a pink slip on Monday.

Nope, as I have a few domains transactions hitting today and I don't need a ton of Siber confirmations (and useless, canned "try flushing your cache" dummy replies) flying in and clogging up my phone. I am doing nothing until I get the transfer codes sent out at ~3PM (waiting for the 60-day lock to expire).

I heard some people had problems placing additional bids at Sibernames during their last TBR auction process, so they're probably working on fixing that (if i had to guess).

It's Monday morning at 10:32 and the Siber TBR system is still offline...

Also, does anyone know what happens to the $40 deposit you need to give them, does it sit on their account until I die, or can I actually use it for payments? I've been buying crap like crazy, and totally forgot about it, and as Siber is down, there is no way to look around to see.

Got the answer to the $40 Question.

It appears you can only pay using "Siber Deposits" if they're *exactly* the right amount as what you owe, down to the penny. So I need to get my invoice next week, top-up my deposit to exactly the invoice amount, then it will apparently allow me to use this magical deposit.

Also, Siber will be offline again today and into tomorrow. Hopefully by Wednesday I'll be able to order.
