Dormant uk limited company

Hi,

i am looking into the registration procdeure of a "dormant uk limited company" for one of my family members. How does this work? I think it is a non-trading company that doesnt have to show its accounts? Am i correct?

i have done this , its quite easy just reg it then on the compainies house web site you can file dormant accounts , then its £15 a year to keep it
