Plus the fact some who may be interested in .org don't want to pay much. But I have many, many .orgs and I will continue to buy as they will go up in price and they will sell.
I have no problem selling a .org to a non-profit. After all some of these organizations have advertising money they spend and they pay their staff to work, staff do not volunteer. So I figure if they can pay large salaries to their staff and pay marketing firms to get their message out, whats the difference with paying for the right to own the traffic on the net.
For instance a name like movieactorsguild.org, I would sell. Movie stars who belong to such a guild or org have the fees to pay each year to belong. Its not a social issue so much, more of a non-profit for a group of people who make tons of money in the acting profession. The ext. in this case fits the members, but its not such a issue as a non-profit, so why not make money if a name is owned like that. So its a case by case situation to me.
For instance, a name like cancerinremissionorg, I may decide to donate the name to, especially since my mother recently died from the disease. The name avoidcancer.org, I may decide to sell for a profit. I don't own these names, just using as an example.
Personal choice of course is the deciding factor.
