It's hardly justifiable to refer to him as a "murderer" when he was acquitted in a court of law. Saw what you will, but choose your words wisely. There is a fine line between free speech and libel.

Ugh..the civil guilty verdict makes it legal and truthful that OJ Simpson murdered Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman! There is no libel there.

He was as guilty as sin.

He got away with it for 2 reasons:

1) He's black.
2) He hired the best legal team ever assembled in US legal history.

If I was OJ I would just thank my lucky stars to have literally got away with murder. Trying to make money out of it is just plain taking the piss.

He got off because the prosecutor was outmatched underpaid city attourney. She was terrible. The defending attourney didn't have to be that good.

Also racially this was after the rodney king verdict which created riots all over LA. It was fresh in the minds of jurors and played off well by the defending attourneys. The criminal verdict was more about incompentence and money than anything else.

I'm not as concerned about OJ because, as has been pointed out, he was found innocent in criminal court.. I'm more concerned with the other opportunists involved.. they certainly stand to make a very big buck off this.

That said, a petition is a fine idea but I don't believe it will stop wheels already in motion.

The media are and will have a profitable fieldday with this.. it's not about OJ, it's about money.

Like I said, whether OJ did or did not do it, it's sad to see any attempt to profit off this.
