Hey guyz,

I own GreatEgypt.com , and I have it parked with sedo. I had the price for it at $200 and today when I opened my email I found out I have a bid on it. The bid is for $200 -- first bid.

I don't know what I should do now guyz. Do you think he can offer more if he jumped at 200 from the start ? Please advise.

Thanks so much (for quick replies if possible)

Come back with an offer of say $800 which gives you room to meet him at around $400 to $500 Good luck

Ok since I never had sells at sedo, I don't know what to do.

I click the "BID" thing and I see 3 options:

A) Sell for 200

B) Make offer

C) Cancel Negotiations

So if I want to ask $500 I have to do what? B right ? And write in the "Your offer" box $500 right ?

What comment should I use ?

-------

And one more thing:

if I counter with 500 or other amount, can i still accept his 200 offer before the 7 days end ?

B) Make offer

If you hear Regis' voice - reply "Yes, this my final answer."

by contract don't you have to sell to him if he bid your asking price?

And can I still accept his offer if he's not going to make a new offer ? (in the 7 days left?)

If he doesn't cancel - yes.

oh jeez, just take the $200 unless sedo insist on their stupid $150 commission in which case just counter with $350. Not a great name so dont expect miracles

you put it up for sale for $200 because you were happy with that price. If the buyer had done a song and dance act for $50, and then moved towards $150 you would have accepted. Just because someone puts up the asking price, is not a reason to play silly buggers. You have been fortunate to get a quick offer. the sedo commission is 10% on .coms. Do the right thing and proceed with the sale.

I say that you counter with an offer of $400, 300 is in the middle and that's about how much I think it is worth. YOu are not oblicated to accept the 200 but if he does not withdrawl the 200 offer, I say take it. Milk it if you can, but 200 is not that bad if you can't. Also you can escape the comission by parking the domain at SEDO.

I'd take the $200 sale, I checked your sedo page and it says $800 now, what's the deal with that?

I don't know, having set the price at $200 and then you coming back with a $400-$500 offer seems greedy, that MIGHT turn him off. It's worth a shot though, I wouldn't ask for over $350-$400 though

Make a offer and leave room to negotiate is all I can say ;)
