Hey nP members,

we all know that the TLD space has changed completely.

While we can see many creative and great domains made from new TLDs we can see much more really weird and pointless .combinations - means weird and pointless domain name combinations in the .com extension - it often just looks like that 'it must be a .com in every case - no matter how pointless the name combination itself is'.

There are now so many opportunities to 'label' meaningful domain names with a new TLD - I personally recommend .top for the optimum / best 'label' - don't think .com is the future.

.top Badness Index: 6.64 Domains seen: 296,198
Bad domains: 163,825 (55.3%)

Don't forget to mention that statistic to your buyer. Also note to him/her that large companies are blocking all email from .top

Tell them you want 3 billion, but will cut them a deal for 1

toptop"""""""""" .top definitely does NOT pass the radio test. ;)
This domain will pass every RT easy but simply doesn't need it.
It's not a typical domain which have to go through tests ;)

There is not enough time to say top 21 times on a radio commercial. I tried to time myself, but lost count after toptoptoptop

Wow. I posted the link and started the thread, but didn't realize the sheer numbers. That's massive.

163,825 spammy e-mail domains from .top caught by Spamhaus. Think about that for a second.

in the .top 10 most spammiest extensions by sheer number Bad domains: 163,825

the second closest is .download with Bad domains: 12,277

so .top .tops it with 13x as many spam operations as .download

Man, that's true. Pretty crazy stuff as far as domains and spam go.

On earth. Most radio commercials are 30 seconds
But there is the sky too.
This domain will simply get the time which is needed - plus a few seconds or minutes of silence to realize it after hearing it.
This domain has nothing to do with 'most radio commercials'.

Everybody has his opinion - so I wouldn't call it 'hiding behind it'.
  • Of course I have a plan.
  • Yes, I have a belief based on nothing more than my own views.
  • I am reading all views but don't agree with all views.
  • Nobody has to write his opinion, so don't tell me 'I am wasting your time'. If you think that 'I am wasting your time' I have to say that you are wasting your time by thinking that because it is / was your own decision to visit this thread and write something.
Yes, I started this thread - but it seems like that many are interested in it - otherwise it wouldn't get so many replys.

Most of the responses are people making fun of you... I'm trying to have a legit discussion with you about what leads you to believe that this domain will become valuable. But you ignore any real question anyone asks you.

All we're looking for is some details on your thought process. If you're unwilling to provide that then yes, you're wasting the time of people whom you offered to have a discussion with.

I don't believe that this domain will become valuable - I believe that this domain is already valuable (since it's existence).
I believe that this domain is the most valuable domain of all time and that's why I believe that this domain is the most expensive domain of all time.

I believe that this domain is the most valuable domain of all time and that's why I belive that this domain is the most expensive domain of all time.

Why?

Is it just because it contains the word "top" as many times as possible? Is that the beginning and the end of the reason why the domain is valuable?

Answer me this.... What gives something value?

Yes, that's EXACTLY the reason.

It depends on the thing and on the person which owns the thing.

No it doesn't. At the end of the day only one thing gives monetary value to a thing: Demand

Someone has to want the thing, and be willing to pay for it.

Currently there is no demand for your name.

So now answer this.... What will happen to create a demand for your domain name?
