Hey nP members,

we all know that the TLD space has changed completely.

While we can see many creative and great domains made from new TLDs we can see much more really weird and pointless .combinations - means weird and pointless domain name combinations in the .com extension - it often just looks like that 'it must be a .com in every case - no matter how pointless the name combination itself is'.

There are now so many opportunities to 'label' meaningful domain names with a new TLD - I personally recommend .top for the optimum / best 'label' - don't think .com is the future.

DON'T GET LOST IN WEIRD .comBINATIONS!

Do you agree?
Or not?
What is your opinion?

All the best with your invest,

And certainly Geely will blow Mercedes, BMW, Toyota and all others...
No, TESLA will do this job ;)

In other words, current will blow away oil.
In other words, .top will blow away .com

.top = current
.com = oil

Thats why com.top worths more IMO than top.com because current is smarter than oil.

There are indeed studies and sales and other strong arguments and infos, you can find them if you search for them.

Anyway - at least for me it doesn't matter if this thread lands in the break room because I have the same t/opinion on every place @ nP.

(Very) Own opinion and toxic propaganda are different things.

True, I hope you can distinguish both.
Better an (very) own opinion than toxic propaganda.

porno.top is owned by Registry.

kingof.top (as already said above) is trying to sell his domains a few times higher than Registry...

Probably this is the case with some domains - and?
That's nothing spectacular.

I am sure that the registry owns / offers domains which much higher prices than mine - except my 63 character long / 21 times 'top' / TLD .top domain toptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptop.top because this is the most expensive domain of all time.

I don't know the registry's pricing in detail - I am focused on my own domains / pricing. Like every serious domainer.

A registry will get yearly renewal fees while a private seller get's it one time.
All my .top prices are asking prices.
It all depends on negotiations at the end.

How many times did you actually typed your most expensive domain? What can it be used for? What about the radio test? What about TV test? What about posting it on Twitter?
Your propaganda is making you ridiculous. I'm sorry, but you should wake up or stop smoking those stuff. Each of your thread is a pure spam for your domains.

I will create a thread here on nP about this mindblowing domain @ another time.
Then all your questions should hopefully be answered.

In the meanwhile you can find a properly answer here:

You call it 'propaganda' and 'ridiculous' and 'smoking' and 'stuff' and 'spam'.
I call it 'information' and 'focused' and 'breathing fresh / clean air' and 'clear thinking' and 'spamfree .top activity'.

Singulars by Registry are usually priced for low $x,xxx.
And renewal fee for these Premiums is standard: $x

Yes but they have much more premiums than a private seller - so it's normal.

They can't sell them 1.5 years already...
So I don't think that is normal...

Under the current circumstances* it's indeed normal I think.

*The world (web) is still constantly 'flooded' with new TLDs about every 1 - 3 week/s - the new 'TLD waves' are simply to high now, people (endusers / domainers / investors) are seeking orientation in this 'TLD ocean', not every is stable enough to see .top as the global future #1 top 5***** TLD, living in this awareness helps to understand whats why going on.
When the 'TLD sea' calmes down, the sales will start, I am sure.
Then the run for .top will begin.

Everyone looking for a day job in the new namespace? Sorry, but for now most will have to be satisfied with small servings. Unless you're lucky enough to land perfect first/last keyword matches, the gTLD's are by no means a guaranteed income ATM. And they might never be. There are simply too many.

I have been living from this for more than two years, starting from just a handful names. But, I spend a lot of time with it. Ok, I have to admit that it's not a VERY satisfying salary yet, but it puts food on the table and pays the bills.

Off topic: I sold a Lisa dot club to a company in Netherlands. Still a redirect after two years.

Same here with sun.run but I don't care how they use it if I make a nice ROI.
