Hello everyone,
I would like to share one of the most awful experiences i have ever in domain names on Gname.com
I attempted to purchase the domain ruih.com through a Buy-Now listing on Gname. Through third-party Aliyun.
I placed the Buy-Now order and the amount (~$51) was immediately frozen from my account balance. The order initially appeared in my account with the status Transferring, which suggested the purchase was being processed.
I spoke with the support and one of them told me I have just to wait and nothing has to to do . About one hour later, I checked the WHOIS record and noticed that the Updated Date of the domain has been changed! While the domain has a landing selling page connected to west.xyz , which made me feel that the person who i spoke to has bought it from the main registrar because it's weird that the domain has been updated one hour direct after my purchase.
After that, today I found the order completely disappeared from my Purchases and Transferring sections and My funds were unfrozen and returned to my available balance and nothing shows on my purchases because if it cancelled it should be there as cancelled or failed or succeed but nah , it's tottaly disappeared from my purchase list . I contacted support and received the following explanation:
They said the domain was a partner Buy-Now listing, and when they checked real-time availability, the partner had already delisted the domain.
However, what made the situation confusing to me is that the WHOIS “Updated Date” changed shortly after my purchase attempt, which makes me wonder whether the domain might have been acquired by the person I spoke to from the support the same time.
I am not making any accusations, but the timing looks unusual and wired.
For reference, the domain is currently still registered at Alibaba Cloud (Aliyun).

I'm now waiting for my refund because they have informed me that that i have to wait 3 to 7 days after they first release the fund from the available balance. I will keep the thread open and keep it updated according my refund process.
