This is for RJ:

I have a 2x2 Category Box matrix on the home page of my DSP. I can't figure out how to control/specify the default sorting within the 4 Category Boxes on the Home Page.

1 - What lines of code in which files control the default sorting order?

2 - I would VERY much like to be able to specify/control the sorting within each individual Category Box differently. Can DSP be made to do this? If so, what lines of code in which files control the sorting order for each Category Box individually?

Hi. I'm familiar enough with RJ's code in DSP to be able to try several changes already that the PHP shows as being what controls sort order, but the changes don't do anything. That's why I'm asking for RJ's help to simply point out what code in which files that I must be missing, controls the sort order for the Category Boxes on the Home Page.

I believe what you're looking for is in the functions_inc.php file, in the display_sample() function.

Specifically, this part of the mysql query string:

ORDER BY rand()

You can change to ORDER by what ever column of the mysql database you like.
