21 names--Some registered 16 years ago, most several years old, a few newly registered. None developed. Got an Afternic appraisal of $50k for one of them.

If I had to guess the domain appraised by Afternic at $50k it would be Luminance.com, which is by far the best name on the list.

I don't think its worth anywhere near $50k personally but it's a good name. Don't know about value but if I was an end user and really needed the domain maybe high $xxxx to low $xx,xxx?

Here are my favorites:

Luminance.com is very nice and is in at least the $x,xxx range to the meanest reseller IMO. It's the kind of domain I could imagine going for low $xx,xxx to an end-user.

I really like the look and sound of LuckyStreet.com. Being a brandable, it's much more difficult to value but I wouldn't be too surprised to see it making low $x,xxx at some time in the future if it gets end-user interest.

Note: the above estimates are the minimum prices I would expect for these domains. All the best with them!

Wordsworth, many thanks to you. Indeed luminance is the name the Afternic appraised at $50k, not too hard to spot I guess. If I list luminance on Afternic or Sedo or elsewhere would $33k be reasonable? Better to auction or to just give a buy now price? I do have a party with VERY deep pockets interested but they are claiming a budget of only $7k, so I guess I will pass on that offer. Maybe if I put it up for sale/auction they will wake up.

LuckyStreet is kind of neat--if Internet gambling flourishes it seems like it might pop in value a bit. A nice name for a gambling/gaming info hub or such perhaps. I originally bought it because I wanted to develop a sort of Second Life virtual environment around it--thought it would attract some interesting characters. SecondLife Noir version--a place for people down on their luck, seeking a second chance and redemption--filled with Tom Waits-like characters and of course a lot of blondes... Still sounds like fun! But not practical I suppose.

To me, regarding real value, time is on the side of Endthirst.org with worldwide water scarcity looming in the near future--could be a great name for a international beverage company looking to get on the right side of the scarcity situation with water conservation efforts.

Time also on the side of alzheimersfamilycare as more boomers reach advanced age--great name for a national chain of comprehensive family treatment centers.

Well, probably dreaming on these last two, but who knows?

Perhaps I should say I am the original registerer of all these names--at some point I have thought of developing each of them but a lot of time has passed and I can't handle them all so I want to turn some into cash now.

Anyway, still eager for more feedback. Excited to learn more about this wild and crazy market.
