Domains Cheaper than .com

Since the .com price hike-up seems like there is a slow down in domain investing? More down to renewals, guess except for some spammers!
I receive this email recently from my registrar indicating some domain extensions which is cheaper than .com such as:-
1) .asia - $5.99
2) IDN.tw - $2.00
3) .biz - $6.49
4) .cn - $0.99

Some are rather a norm, but what do you guys think about investing in .ASIA? is so much cheaper to buy now!

Well it was not the best decision to raise prices given the current economic conditions. Some of the extensions were allways overpriced.

A very well known register is dropping .com parked domains which are not performing, they may be giving domains away soon!

Yup, just 5.99 below$6 for a .asia, believe it or not, but i think is just promotional period only. The best thing is you can register up to 10 years to secure the $5.99 price. So it is not limited to only a 1 year "thingy"
