Our domain name marketplace AlanAdlari.com (AlanAdlari means domain names in English) is the leading domain name marketplace in Turkey since 2012. In Turkish domain name market, it has been the only meeting point for domain name investors and end users.
As AlanAdlari.com, we also have a weekly community newsletter and send it to our all members since 2012. We have had a very good feedback from our members for years.
With our 8 years experience of domain name marketplace, now we have launched a global marketplace in English language. Its name is DomainPanda.com.
WHAT HAVE WE LEARNT FOR 8 YEARS?
We have added lots of new marketplace features for the needs of our clients during 8 years. However, we realized that removing some marketplace features can be more important than adding.
The most important is the abolition of the “percent commission from sale” system. While investors price their domain names, they add the platform commission to the sales price. This causes the price of the domain name to increase. By reducing the costs in the platform layer, we reduce the cost of buyers in the market and enable them to buy their domain names cheaper.
It is a known fact that some sellers and buyers move the transaction out of the platform after reaching an agreement on the platform in order not to pay the platform commission. By removing the commission fee; not only preventing sellers to move sales off the platform, we also enable them to transfer their agreements taking place outside the platform into our platform in order to benefit from our secure trading model.
As a marketplace, we carry out the same transactions in the sales process for each domain name. However, while doing the same, It is charged more than a domain name that is sold at an expensive price, and a low fee for a domain name that is sold cheaply. Why should we charge more than one when providing the same service for both?
We completely remove the communication barriers between the buyer and seller by offering several features such as the display of the seller phone number on the sales and listing pages and the use of the online chat program. In addition, there are no rules for approval on offer messages. Both incoming and outgoing offer messages are delivered instantly. There are also no rules for approval on listing descriptions. All changes apply instantly. You do not have to wait for the approval of a moderator.
That we have offered the brokerage and transfer assistance services as optional is among the factors that enabled us to remove the percentage commission from the sales.
Brokerage service will be external and brokerage prices will vary from broker to broker. We will soon include external brokers to our system.
The transfer assistance service will be a fixed fee of 50 USD per transaction.

Auction reserve price can be arranged in Standard and Themed Auctions. This reserve price can be displayed as directly or price range. Also, auction ending day and time is set by the seller in application process.
i. Standard Auctions (10 USD per auction)
– Listed domain names can be put in standard auction whenever the seller wishes.
– When a domain name receives an offer, seller can put it in standard auction starting from the current offer if the buyer also accepts the auction. For this auction process, the seller makes a counter offer and in this way, the buyer is offered three options as;
a) accepting this counter offer made by the seller,
b) accepting the domain name to be put in auction starting from the offer he/she has made. During the auction, if no higher bid is made, he/she will be the winner.
c) rejecting the counter offer made by the seller and making another counter offer or cancelling the negotiation process.
ii. Themed Auctions (3-10 USD per auction)
Moderators can add multiple auction themes for a period of time. Users can apply for a selected themed auction by making payment. After the payment, if a moderator approves the application, domain name will be listed in that themed auction.
iii. Expiring Auctions (free of charge)
Sellers can put their domain names into “Expiring Auctions” in case the time to expiring date is less than 30 days.
