Ogh....

You have several issues here, most of them addressed. If this is a fresh registration, call the registrar back and let them know you mispelled the domain name, you should get your funds back.

Why not? I certainly would if it was through a reputable registrar. It is no different than regging on your computer. I have been out places and thought of a good name I would like to check on the spot. If it was easy and fast to do I would use it!

I actually do reg domain names from my phone. I have a treo 700wx - Love it! I'll be driving around and come up with an idea. Flash! pull up GoDaddy on my Treo (there is a mobile version) and register that domain name. Did this 2 days ago on the way to the Vet....

However - guess what folks? I didnt type GoDaddy.mobi - I typed GoDaddy.com and they automatically brought up a compatable version of the site... thus rendering and proving - .mobi unneccesary.
