Hello, I have a domain sold on Domaineasy.com and the payment has been made but it still appears to be available for purchase.

"Minimum installment value is $50". That is an awkward thing to say to the buyer when the seller has already determined the minimum installment (maximum LTO period).

Congratulations on your domain sale. Someone will be in touch with you shortly regarding transfer of the domain. The domain has been placed in pending sale / sold status so rest assured that it can not be purchased a second time by someone else.

There are lots of these quirky little wording issues on DomainEasy. Why is that?

If the name was purchased, why doesn't the landing page automatically change to SOLD?

It does. There's a visual bug in the display on the root domain that is being addressed.

@DomainEasy I've mentioned it upthread, but here is a more succinct description of my thoughts re your logo.

https://www.namepros.com/threads/do...tplace-is-launching-soon.1332346/post-9275749

As you can see - you basically offer an identical lander to GoDaddy's custom lander without the power of their brand. To differentiate you have waived commissions for some period (kudos!). From reading this thread that has garnered you some love among some domainers who are using your landers.

Current scenario:
Almost identical landers
15% commission (includes GoDaddy brand)
9% commission (currently waived) includes DomainEasy brand

For the 6% difference - I choose the likely higher STRs on the GoDaddy landers.

Make the choice more stark. To capture more domainers, I think you should consider moving the logo for reasons explained in the link. If you did that there would be further differentiation between you and GoDaddy's custom lander. I do understand a balance has to be struck (after all you are providing a service and want to promote yourself - and you should). But you do have competition and with the landers being almost identical your sole differentiator is price. While many domainers jump to save a buck, I think that could be shortsighted. Buyers trust GoDaddy and will pay more to buy through them which means any and all landers other than theirs likely have lower STRs. By moving the logo to the bottom of the page buyers will first see the name and credit card logos and their trust will be garnered by those logos - rather than your, currently unknown, brand. Hopefully over time you can revisit as sales and brand awareness increase.

Agreed. Going to get this removed.

You're comparing DE landers to those of GoDaddy. Yet you mostly use Aftermarket.com landers don't you?...

I think we've had this exact discussion in this thread before... I really like the logo in the header, and even want them to include more signals that can build trust on the lander.

They're great. Currently 450 active BIN landers with logos here.

I'm comparing the two because they look almost identical (and clearly are both pay homage to the Dan lander). Thus I think they are a great comparison and it makes it easy to see which to use (one comes with the GoDaddy logo and 15% commission and the other comes with a 9% currently fee waived DomainEasy logo).

My current non-brandable lander distribution:
250 Aftermarket Landers
200 GoDaddy Custom Landers
100 Sedo #15 landers

Yes, we did. Someone asked me about them in another thread - so I thought I'd re-share. I totally get their landers work for many. I'm all for more choice and more options. Just offering an alternate perspective.

Thank you for the additional feedback. We're already working on making improvements based on the previous feedback. One of them will likely be the ability to change the placement of the DomainEasy logo or remove it completely. We are exploring other options as well. Please keep in mind that we just launched 2 weeks ago. We are adding additional features and working to improve every day.

It's nice to see your responsiveness in this thread. We're all just flailing looking for landers since Dan closed. And you know, we all want everything yesterday. Appreciate the hard work and the solution. Keep it up!
