Domain Transfer

Okay, I initiated a transfer for a .US domain in which the Who-Is has always been mine, but the account is seperate. I started the transfer 6-Days ago and provided all the needed info and even the stuff needed to unlock the domain, but the domain now says its locked in transfer. How long does a .US domain take to transfer? And does the accout holder have any legal holdings to the domain, althrough the who-is has and will continue to be in my name?

The reason I ask is because the domain is in my oponion a solid 1-Word domain and I haev already had an email from what Ive found to be a fairy well-off company asking for a quote for the name. Im assuming its worth $1K and up so time is of the essense

Transfers should take less than six days to complete. Has it been in the locked status for all six days? Is it possible the registrar took a few days to initate the transfer?

Hmm, THe Who-Is changed today from Enom to Godaddy which is good and its no longer in the Lockish Phase. I wont be satisfied till I see it available in my GOaddy account but its a good sign

i just did a transfer from enom to godaddy same situation as you and it took about 8 days to complete.

K its been 6 business days so hopefully the order will complete by the 14th which is 8 business days. ALthrough the domain stuff has finished resolving I dont think godaddy has.
