Ok, I had to edit my post above, but if you have any issues with your Sale or purchase at the roundtable auction, contact Stephen (DotPlanner) above this post.

Are we supposed to have our domains or money yet? Because I don't have either yet.

There has been no contact from NI to indicate if I should already have it or to continue waiting. Does that mean there's a problem with my account, or is this normal?

I was just made aware of this post. Please contact me directly. My cell phone number is (206) 866-5090.

The official email address is "agreement (at) domainroundtable.com", we are able to resolve all issues better at that address because we have a team that works on that. Rather then just one person.

Let me explain what we have been working on.

We have been working on streamlining the escrow process. We have been designing Escrow software at the same time we have been handling escrow transactions. We have made a number of good systems now to track the progress of both Money and Domains.

Thanks for the info, Jay.

I was just being patient and not really worrying about it. Timeline aside, the only thing really concerning was that my credit card was charged for the purchase I made, and the site also shows that amount coming out of my sales proceeds. But since I hadn't received the deposit yet I was going to wait until after to ask about it.

Do we need to contact you if our transactions have not yet been processed? Or will they all be handled in due time?

If you were already charged for a purchase then that amount will not be deducted from the final amount. Several people bought domains and also sold domains so they were able to pay for the domain using credit from the sale.

Jay,

Thanks for visiting and updating. I'm assuming the email I sent yesterday made it's way to you about this thread.

Along with inventing the auction and escrow software, it would be nice to have all the auction details and some ongoing news in a central location. It's a little difficult sifting through blog posts and replies, the user panel, the old auction pages, and the domain submission page to find info. I got that email address from your reply in the blog. Based on the email name of "agreement" I just assumed it was for the original submission process, and posted my inquires in the support area under the "domain roundtable" subject, which doesn't seem to be monitored.

I've really not been worried things won't come through eventually. However, it would be nice to have at least a weekly general update, and some individual information on the current status of our own auctions in the members user panel. At this point after almost 4 weeks, I still don't even know if the buyer of my domain has paid since no transfer request has been made yet.

When things settle down a bit, you might open a thread here for Domaintools suggestions or domain roundtable auction suggestions. If you are open to ideas, I and some others here could probably give you some constructive suggestions on usability form a sellers and buyers standpoint.

A central place to see the status of everything is exactly what we are working on.

Kudos to the team

My transfers went through in minutes this morning after a new transfer request.
I have to say the crew at Name Intelligence/ Domain Tools has been ALL over it this past week! A special thanks to Stephen. As it turned out it was no fault of DI/DT - godaddy was messing me up. Once that was cleared, things went smooth as ice cream.
I'll be excited to see what they're working on for an interface. I was impressed all the way before and through the auction - and they continue to improve their system. I think it's obvious they listen to us!
KUDOS!

Edit: Wow...not sure when the transfers went through but Moniker still shows the names in my account even though DT has them. First they don't unlock the names when I go through the process of unlocking them for transfer and now this...wtf gives with Moniker?

Moniker isn't as secure as some people think... they have long had registrar / registry domain sync problems.

Registerfly was like that too
you'd sell a domain or transfer it - and it would STILL show in your registerfly account - they would even still send you renewal notices for it.

Yes- when I started domaining I was dumb enough to register my domains with Bluehost. Not only are they expensive, but they are exactly like Registerfly in that respect that the registrar / registry info is always out of sync.

I have paid for some renewals that I no longer had in my account because they fooled me into thinking I still had them and they were expiring. It's hard to keep track when you get conflicting information all the time.

Very worried to hear that Moniker has those problems, I was counting on them.

I received my purchased domain and transfer request for my sold domain. I also got a personal reply from Jay explaining the situation. Seems things are under control and moving. :tu:

Jay contacted me as well and pushed the name that I purchase. I also received wire transfer for 2 of the 3 names I sold. The third has yet to be paid in full by the winning bidder.

Little while ago I noticed the number of domains in my eNom account was 2 more than before ... so I checked and there they are - got both DomainList.com and Voys.com today ... weird thing is that eNom never sent me any notification - maybe they don't for inbound pushes?

Anyways, I'm very happy now...

Thank you again Jay and others involved with the auction for making it a success :)

I'm glad that everything is moving ahead faster now and the issues for all of you have been resolved with your domain sales. I told you that Name Intelligence had it under control! I hope this quells the ridiculous assertions earlier in this thread that Nameintel was pulling some gigantic scam with their LDA.

See you at the next DRT, and bring your best domains with you for the LDA! The system has been fine-tuned so that these delays will be less likely to happen in the future. I predict it's all gold from now on!

Congrats to all!

Just received the wire in my acct this morning.

Weird though, my bank usually notifies me of pending wire transfers.

Oh well, happy to see everything worked out.

Glad to hear you finally got your domain! eNom does not send out any notifications of pushed domains, why I am not sure.

I finally got my payment today as well....... well, kind of. I selected paypal payment and they sent an eCheck for whatever reason and charged me $5.00 more for it. Paypal indicates, payment is expected to clear on 9-18-07. I would think I will get hit with fee's from paypal payment as well. Why they didn't do a Mass Pay, I do not know.

I got the same email from PayPal for my sales. Yep. They should have used Mass Pay.

Well I got paid today. I think you had something to do with it Stephen - I'm glad I went to you and thank you a ton!
