From what I can tell, that is correct. I am not at the conference so I am not sure. Hence the title "unofficial results"

Hard to believe that if it weren't for poker.de the total sales would have only been 5500 euro.

The problem is the quality of domains in live auction are not that high.

T.R.A.F.F.I.C.Z does better for selecting domains.

So by current currency standards, Poker.de sold for $937,553.31 USD. Jesus! I'll say this - Poker.in won't be getting any cheaper.

Oh yes, poker.de was a real nice sale!

Being the all time highest reported sale for a .de domain, we are sure to be getting some publicity and we hope this will reflect on the interest for the silent auction.

We have also asked all name owners that have domains in the silent auction, to doublecheck their starting bids. Changes will be accepted today and tomorrow for domains that have no bid yet.

Some very interesting domains on this auction!!!

The silent auction has some interesting names. Hexen.com's a funny one...I used to love that computer game way back in the day.

Pretty pathetic, particularly for a live auction, would have been a disaster if not for Poker.de

Based on previous "silent auctions" don't expect much from that.

Currently the domain market is in the doldrums - certainly needs new and innovative ways to get it back on track.

BTW - some of those reserves were way OTT

While not necessarily either new or innovative ... I would say to spend more time developing our domains, and then finding better ways in which to further monetize them and optimize them in the search engines, IMHO. Also, since we're now entering the summer months ... :music: :zzz: ... have those sites and freshly polished domains back up for show by Labor Day! :music: :lala:

Just my two sense.

Spain an Poland are both markets with great future. Specially Spain has allready started to produce some nice sales.
