The new bi-weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com and it is one for the ages. A virtual tsunami of big sales washed ashore over the past two weeks, including 13 that reached six figures and 54 more in five-figures (many of those over $50,000). As a result, our latest all extension Top 20 Sales Chart is loaded with eye-popping sales. The chart topper came in just under $1 million with the runner-up passing the half-million dollar mark. The #3 sale is a $400,000 domain that the seller hand registered back in 1999 for $70! We also saw the the year’s two biggest ccTLD sales to date, both reaching six figures. You can get all of the details here: https://www.dnjournal.com/archive/domainsales/2021/20210331.htm

Every asset is going higher and higher, every storage of value is going higher. Just like you have people who sold their BTC for 4k a year ago, you have people now selling 6 figure names for XXXX

I posted this many times in the past few months, readjust your pricing now, inflation is here, the demand for good domains will increase, funds being raised by startups is higher, you think a 6 figure sale is a lot for a startup that just got 100 million of OPM?

Million dollar domain sales will soon be a weekly thing followed by it being a daily occurrence.

The DigitalArtists com sale for 300k (yeah it will close) shows the power of category killer domains. If you have one of those and you price it under 100k you might as well apply to be a charity org.

Look at the action at aftermarket auctions, it's getting hotter by the day, a lot of new fresh money is getting involved in domaining, just look at all the action domaining how to videos are getting. A lot of the new money is what they call YOLO money, they just go all in once they believe in something and it only takes a few newcomers with deep pockets to drive auctions that used to end at low XXX to high XXXX and even XX,XXX / XXX,XXX

Just wait until some mainstream media figures out whats going on with domain assets and the price explosion, right now they are too busy with WSB/GME/BTC, just wait until they see a real asset like domains and the uncontrolled rise in prices. It takes them time to write about things, but once they do, you will have a flood of new money showing up buying good names.

I hate using this word, but HODL your good domains and price them well, we can go from 5 fig norm sales to 7 fig in a few months just like other assets. Domains have been undersold for decades, now is the time to ask a fair price.
