What's the best suggested way to contact a co. Regarding a domain name which you want to convince them that they may be very interested in purchasing?

In this case, it would be a no brainier that could take their regional name into the global marketing arena.

If they hold a TM on your name and/OR are using the name in commerce, you should probably avoid getting in contact with them.

Also, if the name is parked and generating profit based on this company's name, you should remove it ASAP.

UDRPs have been lost for such activities.

Best advice: don't register trademarked names.

If the name is uncommon and the company operates within a limited region, it MAY be okay to register such names and try to sell them out of the region for an unrelated product, but trying to sell it to that particular company would likely be viewed as a "bad faith" registration.
