I just checked the Name Pros Domain Registrations in the Store, and what i must say is that it is extremely unrealistic. The price should be lowered to atleast 600-650 Nps to atleast in somewhat way reflect market conditions. Nobody is going to pay 1000NPs to register domains, with 1000NPs you might as well get 2 new domain registratons.

I understand that NPs value fluctuate, but 600NPs is very well above even if there are any drastic fall in NP value.

So, the Moral of the Story - Bring down the price for registering domains to atleast $600 NPs.

Thanks.

That's the present, fixed "NP$ Store" price ... registrations can be purchased perhaps more competitively from other members in the "NP$ Forum", where dozens and dozens of similar transactions have been completed successfully (and at lower NP$ prices). It's these market-driven dynamics that make the system work so efficiently, IMHO.

That 1000NP$ just sets a guiding price for domain regs using NP$. Just as the official NP$ bank rates for buying and selling NP$ sort of dictate the acceptable trading band for NP$. If the bank rates were more realistic, then there wouldn't be a need for NP$ exchanges between NPers - just buy and sell from the bank! In the same token, if the NP$ price for domain regs is realistic, then there wouldn't be a need for people like me offering domain regs at 700NP$.

Get it?

I think i misunderstood. I meant 700np is around the rate threw the np thread. But the store is good and has good rates.

Good explaination. If the bank just followed the trend of the market at the moment then the interaction between members would be loss and would make the whole market unstable. This is just the boom period after the small depression of low value its high now and its causing a little inflation. LoL I sound dumb.

While we are in the subject I am offering 650 namecheap registrations for a limted time http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11971
