Domain registered 6 years before trademark

I just bought a domain name which was registered 6 years before the trademark for the exact name was filed. Do they have the rights to the domain even though the domain name was never used by the trademark owner?

If I recall correctly, the date you acquired the domain, rather than the date of initial registration, can be considered in a UDRP proceeding.
