question Domain redemption

when a cctld is in redemption, how do i find out where it was last registered? whois.com is no help. they just give me the last updated date and tell me it's in redempton. also who are a couple of good backorder services for cctlds?

In general I use youdot.io, 9€ for .it domains, 20€ for others
Same rules as dropcatch : 1 backorder = you get it, more than 1 = public auction

My advice:

1. The life cycle of .ca should be stable and trackable.
2. Various registrars maybe set different life cycle for .ca.
3. Watch some expired .ca domains for some days, then you should get the answer.

You can use a Whois service that offers historical records to check. Once a domain is in pendingDelete or redemption, those records are cleared from the live Whois database.

We scrape a bunch of these for backordr.com to help determine a drop time. Same kinda thing
