Domain Prices at TRAFFIC

I've recently acquired a CC.NET and was comparing it to other recent sales, some of which were at TRAFFIC 2006. So here's my question: Why the discrepancy in prices between TRAFFIC and non-TRAFFIC sales?

If I look on different sites, I see CC.NETs listed at around $xxxx, but those listed as sold at TRAFFIC are sold for $xx,xxx !!! Why? Do a lot of end-users show up there to bid?

??? The "CC.net" sales at TRAFFIC were LL.net names. Low $xx,xxx seems to be standard for decent ones. I honestly don't know what CC.net (letter/number combos) are priced at these days.
