question Domain Pending Delete but can't buy a Dropcatch? Why?

I'm tracking a domain. It expired on 2019-11-23. I wanted to order a dropcatch. But Dropcatch.com won't let me. My memory is bad lately. I recall seeing this domain already on auction at Dropcatch.

But now nothing. Did this domain already get sold at auction?

going by the expiry date. has it not yet gone into the point that Dropcatch can be ordered on it? I mean it is on Pending Delete Status.

Without saying the domain does it make it impossible to tell what's going on?

That's odd. I wonder if that's because they intend to try to get it for HD . I'd try to backorder it everywhere else. I've only had maybe a 40% success rate of drop catch getting the names I backorder through them anyway.

Then boom I get an email saying they successfully got the domain.

I think I sat back and waited because I swear I saw it had like 8 days left on it.

I know that if I bid there's a good chance that might trigger a run on it like it usually does. at the time I think there as only 4 bids up to under $100.

So it did sell? why would it end so abruptly? or maybe I'm just seeing things as far as the End date? eehhh maybe I saw another End Date for another domain. lol

and now it shows expired 2020-01-08 and now it's with Enom not Godaddy?

Looks like it's in the auto renew grace period at enom since January 8, 2020 which is supposed to last 29 days, so that would be until 2/6/2020 if it doesn't get renewed by then it should go up on namejet as that's is who enom sends their expiry names to from my understanding. But it's got awhile before it will go pending delete and would probably sell at auction if it doesn't get renewed by the current owner before then. I don't see any historical whois since 2015 from anywhere but enom. The create date is showing as 2003 but the Godaddy record you put shows 2016? I would doubt based on the name anyone could reg it in 2016 or even that it would have dropped to be re-reg'd. I am not sure where this Godaddy record came from, a typo maybe the first time you searched for it?
