I have domains parked with several parking providers - Bodis, Sedo, ParkingCrew.
Over the past year my revenue is down an estimated 70% due to the changes to Google Parking.
Then in the past 1-2 weeks parking revenue at those 3 companies has collapsed - down another 80% just in 2 weeks.
So my parking revenue is down about 95% in the past year on mostly type-in generic quality traffic.
Is everyone else seeing similar declines?
At this pace only a few of the best domains are even worth parking.
Parking really picked up during the pandemic - 2020 and 2021. It has been declining for a few years now but September 2025 seems to be the month where domain parking has died.

u make it sound like it's a natural gift

like Mozart and piano

but it isn't
and anyone can learn anything

like u did
Ability to learn a skill =/= to have knowledge of a skill.

I agree with @GoKaizen in that, most of us don't have those skills to begin with so, switching is not going to be easy.

That doesn't mean we cannot learn, it merely means we need to throw even more resources and time to learn, adapt and implement something that we haven't done before.
The fact however is, some of us -probably most- don't have the skills to make this work.

that's pretty insane to say for both of u

cause there is nothing under sun that all cant learn given enuf time

u both are making silly little parking or other knowledge into some naturally born talent lol

the only naturally born thing for humans is intelligence. and most have it. with it u can learn anything anyone on earth has learned before u

Copying and pasting code?

Got dating traffic, links to dating programs

Got shoe traffic, links to shoe programs

Got collectibles traffic, links to eBay, Etsy etc

Probably would get sales with links to the biggest merchant in the world, Amazon

Doesn’t need to be affiliate links, could be straight ad space.

Eric posted he made a few hundred dollars just putting links to the credit card companies he belongs to

It’s really not complicated

If somebody out there wants to start a new business, how about something like this but for parked domains. It ceased operations awhile back, I used to use it but an idea.

The parking income at Bodis has decreased to a very large extent. However there are some marketing companies which are willing to pay some money for quality visitors, the amount they pay varies to a great extent.

My parking income dropped 90%
Something has to be done (Reviving PPC and replacing Google with something bigger and better)

Yes, I’ve noticed the same sharp decline. In fact, I moved away from relying heavily on parking some time back. A portion of my domains are now on my own WordPress-based landing pages that connect directly to my portfolio site and marketplace websites in which I have listed my domains for sale. Others are just on simple sales landers without any parking benefits — mainly so I can at least monitor traffic.

From my own research and tracking, the trend is clear: parking revenue has drastically reduced, especially over the past year. What you’re seeing with the 80–95% drop matches almost exactly with my findings too.

At this point, I think traditional parking is only worth it for a few top-tier names with steady type-in traffic. Otherwise, custom landers or portfolio integration seem to add more value long-term than relying on ever-shrinking parking payouts.

so in few words, we need to do what parking companies were doing.

we need to create landers (maybe using the NP tool) and then find link of products and services from affiliate networks like CJ or directly from services/products that offer affiliate links.
something like this?

Domain Parking - You make money when there is a Click.

Affiliate Marketing - You make money when people Buy.

Which do you think is harder?

i don't want to jump into other people discussions... btw it's pretty obvious what is harder.
there is also way more time involved to set up a landing page with affiliate links.
Btw a sale will pay way more than a click.

With the actual revenues there aren't so many options.. we just need to decide how to invest our time.

You need to get approved for each merchant.

as i said, the time involved to create those landers is waaaaaaay more than the time we spend to set up a parking page.
But it may be worth instead of the actual revenues, especially for people that have spent a lot to create their parking portfolio (domains that have no chance to be sold)

*Affiliates that are buying traffic will pay for clicks. It's not as much as their sales commission, and it depends on the type of promotion. We used to get $2/click back in the '90's and a 4 figure check every month from one tiny 100x100 ad.

Time to adapt

Most of my landers are buy now/lease to own, but if yours are PPC, maybe it’s time to find landers that let you put your own affiliate links up and find some affiliate programs or networks that are cool with that.

We have a dead affiliate marketing section in this forum, maybe that should liven up. It might be a little bit more effort, but you can make a lot more money.
I think this is a good idea.

I remember when Google halved their minimum PPC bid from $1 to 50c. That was probably 2001/2. That killed the payouts overnight, but brought in a new generation of marketers educated to only pay less because they could.

I've watched the recent parking revenue decline in horror. The traffic is up and the payouts are 1 cent on the dollar. Please. I've started de-parking domains.

Plus the commission rates from the domain sales sites Sedo/Godaddy/AfterThis/AfterThat/etc has gotten really stupid. Not worth using them anymore.

Hi

years ago, pointed a name directly to an affiliate link and earned 4fig in a couple of weeks. soon after that, the affiliate (linkshare) prohibited redirect to links

imo…
