Just to put out a warning here for potential buyers, as this happened to me and it made my purchase of a 50 user account useless. It was the first and last time I'd attempt to do this, as its been a waste of time and money.

Firstly, its not the sellers fault - you absolutely do get what is advertised, which is a Google Apps account with super admin access.

The problem is that Google probably has method of determining that the ownership of a (previously dormant) domain with Google Apps has changed. This means that you have likely broken their terms of service by buying an account.

Google suddenly disabled my account (super administrator) - about 3 weeks after buying the domain. The other domain accounts I'd setup on the primary account were also disabled within a half an hour of the super administrator. The only way to appeal this with Google is to go through the process of proving you are the original owner of the Google Apps account, which is basically impossible.

This is the page you have to try to fill in if you want to enable the account again, but you can't get this information from anywhere ...

Hey HG1 - sounds a little more suspicious to me - perhaps someone has gotten access somehow though resetting admin password through secondary domain or backup email accounts.

There are ways to reset the passwords of the admin account if you own the domain with a c name setting

email me and I can help you with some links / instructions to do this.

Not as yet but I will keep you posted in this thread. My temporary solution for the email hosting is to use zoho.com/mail ... Needed to setup an account, and change the MX records. They offer 5 free users per domain, so its not an ideal solution.

HG1 - please let us know if the solution I emailed you works.
none of my customers have every had this problem.
www.gappsfree.com

I have added the google CNAME record

There is a problem though - the CNAME record I added isn't showing up when I do a CNAME DNS query here https://w3dt.net
In fact none of the existing CNAME records are showing up either for the domain.
Maybe then, the problem is with GoDaddy's DNS hosting and that is what caused the problem.
I will let you know what happens.

Actually I just received the "Google password assistance email" and reset link
Was able to reset the password ok

But after I login with the new password, its just back to where I started ...
the same "Account has been disabled" message ... as below ...

Account has been disabled
If you've been redirected to this page from the sign-in page, it means that access to your Google Account has been disabled.
In most cases, accounts are disabled if we believe you have violated either the Google Terms of Service, product-specific Terms of Service (available on the product page), or product-specific policies. Your account has not been deleted, your data is still intact, and it might be possible to regain access to your account.
