McDonalds are protective of their trademark. In the Philippines, there used to be a small burger stall chain named "Big Mak". Initially, McDonalds won the case in 1990. Big Mak appealed, and the court reversed the decision in 2000.

Grimace is very apt, i pull that face everytime i have tried their food.....and that character freaks me out, looks like he wants to eat people instead of Mc Donald's.....
