domains Domain Names Owned by IBM

IBM owns 1,809 domain names from our whois record look up and I was surprised to see so many domain names related to the term "Bonk" - What does this mean in the USA?

Here in the UK - Bonk is a little more "adult" related... so do see IBM own Bonk.com - Opened my eyes but it appears to be associated with The Weather Channel, again not realising that IBM owns Weather.com plus many more...
