Domain name liquidity

Do you think there are innate qualities that make a domain name more liquid? Being able to buy a domain and sell it relatively quickly (for a good price, of course) is of great value for domain name investors.

Obvious things that come to mind for dot coms:

• Short numerics, e.g. NNN, NNNN
• Short letters only, e.g. LLL, LLLL

Short domains and premium dictionary words would sell fast if you're selling at a loss. No such luck for anything else. Sometimes I really wish I had a brick and mortar store.
