Domain Masking-->Pros & Cons...HELP!!!

I currently have a hosting account that only supports one domain. I've been forced to used domain masking as I began developing more sites...
-what are the pros and cons when using domain masking?
-is there any other options that I could consider?..

CON#1 - the URL stays constant through out the visit to the website EI. http://www.samepage.com ...no matter how many links that have been clicked on...the address stays the same.

CON#2 - if the incorrect URL is typed into browser...theres no telling where it will take you...

is there any pros for domain masking???
should i get a hosting plan that supports dedicated hosting for every domain???

Domain masking allows you to hide the destination address of a particular site to which you have forwarded your visitors, so they never know they are on a site that's other than yours.

Here's one pro that just came to my mind. You can get paid links/ads on your masked URL and visitors will follow those link without knowing they have left your site.
