So was looking though expireddomains.net today and I decided to take a look at the Flippa listings...

So the first listing that caught my eyes....Amazon.com for $4000! So this one really got my attention as you can guess. And no Amazon isn't liquidating their domain, turns out its a seller on Amazon trying to sell their business/inventory.

But then I came across a listing for RobotInsurance.com, a steal at only $50million. The curious thing the domain is 20 years old. Who exactly was thinking they might need to insure a robot in 1999? On second thought maybe I should just stick with buying Amazon.com for $4000. :xf.laugh:

So this got me thinking, what are some of the weirdest domain listings your have seen?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Maybe it is a fake bid or an IDN domain.

Good question,
Was researching for coin analysis post:
on NameBio, and checked keyword "name":
Somebody paid $1,025 on 28th August 2019 for:
https://namebio.com/TheLongestListOfTheLongetStuffAtTheLongestDomainNameAtLongLast.com
I'm assuming it was 3am and the empty bottle of Jack Daniels was giving orders...
Apparently the site has existed for awhile and had significant traffic, so that is probably why a name with that many words sold for so much!

It is fun to look on Dofo Advanced search for domains over $1 million. Here is a list:
https://dofo.com/search/?on_sale=y&price_min=1000000&sort=price_d

I don't understand the IDN of the most expensive one, but the second one at only a bit over 2 Billion dollars (yes that was a B) is absurdity.xyz. Which is a little, well absurd! :xf.grin:
