So I am working on my own domain landing page as part of my full portfolio site. I am curious to see if anyone has any feedback on ways to make it better.

I am thinking of adding a description below the fold, probably something generic for most domains but something that can be easily customized for individual domains as needed.

What do you think so far?

Maybe you should add traffic graph?

Interesting idea. But idk as I've been thinking about it I feel like unless it's a domain that gets really good traffic its probably not going to help.

I thought the same thing. Maybe a graph could be displayed once a certain threshold has been reached/surpassed?

Since design and uiux is my thing, and you asked for opinions:

1. Your left and right margins/paddings don't seem to be the same, at least in the screenshot.
2. I'd align your logo with the left margin
3. Change your strikethrough color to the same orange you use throughout your site. Also, check to make sure that the orange color is consistent throughout the site.
4. You spelt "itself" wrongly
5. What's the reason you have an empty indentation space to the left of your price?
6. Not sure what the grey horizontal divider near the chat alert is for – what is it separating the content above from?
7. In your header bar, you have 3 icons, the phone one is not used.

I could go on a lot more, but these would be the complimentary suggestions I'd offer for immediate improvements to your current layout without changing too much.

@ShawnTeo's comment made me look a little closer...

"Credability" should be "Credibility"

"credable" should be "credible"

"competators" should be "competitors"

Good spots!
Yeah of course the basic requirement would be for all spellings and language to be correct.
I didn't spend much time searching for these errors so Bertrell did a good job spotting them too!

There are almost certainly going to be numerous typos, The text is really just there as filler for now while I design the page. Eventually I will come back and make sure the text says exactly what I want and make sure to proofread it for typos before going live.

5. What's the reason you have an empty indentation space to the left of your price?
That is there on purpose to draw attention to the price by indenting ii from the rest.

6. Not sure what the grey horizontal divider near the chat alert is for – what is it separating the content above from?

Below it is where the description will go.

7. In your header bar, you have 3 icons, the phone one is not used.

Both those icons go with with phone number. I am using both the phone and chat bubble icon to show the number accepts both calls and texts.

If you need text to fill in some space, you should really use "Lorem Ipsum". It's kinda like the industry standard for text fillers.

So in cases like this were you need public reviews on design and not content, your reviewers will know immediately they see Lorem Ipsum.

I really don't see the point in that. To me it makes more sense to just use a rough draft of text so it is more clear what the purpose of the text is.
