Hello some of you know me and some of you don't. I am a decade long veteran and never had a bad business encounter since I have been on namepros. I am starting a domain investing group which we will buy, sell, park, and develop websites. We will be reinvesting a portion of the profits into new domains and other needs of the group. I really want to target some newer domainers and people wanting to learn along with anyone whos got some services to contribute. This way new people can see how things happen and why within the industry. Looking for minimum investment of $200 paypal per person if you cannot have it all at once just let m know and we can work some options out. The plan is to build it up for the first 6 months before we even start paying anything out to build a foundation. If interested just reply that you are interested here or shoot me a message here on the forum and I can answer questions. I will only send the paypal email out through private messaging here on namepros. I wanted to make a post here to make everyone aware of it as well as have a record of it existing.

I look forward to meeting some new faces and making some money together. Make sure to tell me if you can contribute any kind of talent in developing, etc. For example one guy we have investing into the group is gonna do graphics design for us with logos and what not and another is handling virtual currency stuff like bitcoin payments.

I will also be contributing $300 to $500 of my own personal sales to get the group moving faster along for you guys.
And yes after the 6 months you will start to receive paypal payments of the total income divide by the amount of people in the group and continue to get them as we grow every month from there on out.

Notice: Groups are not endorsed by NamePros but must exist solely on NamePros.

Before investing in any group such as this you should fully consider exactly what you are getting into. The questions I believe you should ask are quite simple. I'm not saying you shouldn't invest but you should check your gut and instincts and check expectations at the door.

How keen are you on ever seeing your money again?

What type of group is this: Hobby or Professional?
Is there an auditor or accountant managing the portfolio and the proper tracking of income, expenses, and liabilities. These would include proper tax filing in the appropriate jurisdiction and certain incorporation- are you cash or accrual accounting? Are you capitalizing costs? Amortizing costs? Are you filing financial disclosures accuracy? Are you an investor or an actual part owner via a share structure?

These are structural things you should now if you care about your money and tax obligations.

What is the reputation you are staking your money on and what is your own personal liability?
Who are you getting into business with? Do any of the members have a criminal record? Do any of your members have a track record of losing WIPOs against large corporations. Are the names/cash held in trust? Who has control and can you trust that person.

What is the positive reputation based on. I'd recommend a deeper dive than post counts, likes and a few trader ratings. I like NP but there is nothing here that proves integrity. It has to be earned or you're taking a chance. Sometimes you need to take a calculated risk - is this that time?

Can you real trust these people? Do you really want to be associated with these people.. if you are in a group and you start investing in LEGO or Michelin names are you financially protected?

Simply Why?
Why do you think working with someone is better than you learning and doing this on your own. Why, if this is working so well, would someone want to share this awesome opportunity. Are they really that altruistic.
Are there any obvious red-flags: inflated expectations, referencing one-off sales as a pattern, a vague history of success.

Don't let me stop you from investing but make sure you are prepared for the worst.

Some specific questions that I would want an answer to before I invested in this group.
There should be no issue answering any of these in my opinion:

start to receive paypal payments of the total income divide by the amount of people in the group
So it's not based on the invested amount or number of "shares" but number of people. What about provided services - do they get higher earnings Is there clear charter laying this out.

Initial investment of $200 is equal to 100 shares.
What's a share? How many shares exist and are outstanding? How many are float shares? Are these even real shares or just something you made up?

this grows and grows its doesn't just sit and wait. projected income per investor first year will be $xxx to $x,xxx
So if I give you $20,000 I'm going to get a projected income of something between $10,000 and $200,000 without even impacting my initial capital investment? That's awesome! Or am I missing something or are your projections just wild ass guesses? Or are they not scalable - how are you going to turn finding 10 regfee names you flip for xxxxx% into finding 100 regfee names and then 200...

If your shares don't profit that first year I will 100% buy them back from you
So you have a cash reserve for this personally and will buy out their "shares" or is this part of a more formal legal arrangement.

state of wisconsin we are going to register the business name for this group
What is this business name -is it an LLC or are you incorporating? I'm sure people would love to see the principals are... most filings would come with an operating agreement. An LLC will not work with more than a few members due to disagreements..

they wont eber be this cheap again
Because of dilution presumably - where would the new shares come from assuming these are meaningful.

I need to make one thing very clear during the investment phase there are no refunds.
But you will 100% buy their shares back, right?

Me and the other members do not need the headaches playing childish game

That's why you should play the adult game of building a proper business plan. Childish games involve just passing money around like there are no actual fiscal responsibilities involved. This isn't trading sandwiches for a cookie.

you cant lose i back all initials.
But there are no refunds?

I really didnt draw up a plan because domaining is too hard to predict. I could draw up an amazing business plan with all these nice promises but I refuse.
1.) buy domains
2.) pick rather to develop, sell, park, etc
3.) make the income
4.) reinvest 50% profits to more domains and payout other 50% of the prior months profits split amongst the shares.
5.) share holders get money
It's hard to predict but you always get more money. Sounds awesome. How do you decided to develop,sell,park...and what to buy. What is the voting structure.

we can also have offline connections not just namepros members will be exchanging cellphone numbers to text, etc and skype for foreign members

If this is the case then the group cannot operate outside of Namepros. Group activities when done on NP should be done on NP.
So. Is this going to stay an NP group or move offline?

We didn't make anything on day 1. no earning, no expense we got the website underway as step 1 within the first 24 hours. All stats and information will be updated on the official website once its fully done. No payouts in first 6 month building period.
http://dncrew.com/? Impressive 503 site or is it somewhere else.

so the opportunity to be in a group with domain investor/experts like baseballworld is not something I trip across every day
Whenever you invest in someone check their resume. I presume you have done and that it was to your satisfaction.

You should immediately throw out the profit share in the first 6 months. The 200 bucks should be locked for at least 6 months and only people who can afford those 200 bucks should invest. Lets say you get 50 people. You invest 10.000 in domains in January and till March you sell 5 domains for 5000 USD. The profits are still - 5000. Avoid parking at the first stage, because, when buying at auctions you collect in 12- 18 months some profits. Offer packages of 1000 USD for some bigger investors and add +20% of shares (600) 200 bucks 100.
Avoid conflicts of interest. The business PLAN is a must at least 5 - 6 pages. Buying at auctions or domains in 300 - 2000 USD should be a priority. Avoid any speculations as CHIPs (Western premiums, Moonlight premiums and such) because you have a dead capital. Invest 50% in keywords and 50% in brandables.

Here's my take on this, in no particular order.

1) Buy in needs to be higher, with fewer people.

2) Sorting through list of names is boring and something software excels at. There are more opportunities in domain names then we have resources to capitalize on.

3) I'm not interested in building mini-sites or flipping names for $200.

4) Shit happens. There should be legally binding agreements, a bank account and a secure way to manage assets.

5) Not every member needs to have the same ownership.

6) Secure platform for members to communicate.

I want to own category killer names, in killer categories and sell them for millions, not thousands. Time is valuable. Flipping names for $200 is a start, not a business plan.

Another think I would like to add for you guys is in the state of wisconsin we are going to register the business name for this group as well so everything will be registered legally also.

The guys who running this "fund" should show some proven track record. For example taking $200 dollars and at least turning it into $250. From my experience people who can make money online DO NOT need any outside investment. Also there must be a LAWYER who drafts clear agreement between all parties. Everyone must understand their rights and responsibilities. I am happy people excited about this, but please think it through before you send the funds. Good luck guys!

Initial investment of $200 is equal to 100 shares.

Future buyins will be available and you may make payments on the initial $200.
after the 6 month building period payments are paid out paypal and other half is reinvested to new domains for parking, selling, and developing.
All investors will be taught tips and tricks for parking, developing, and increasing sales skills.

this grows and grows its doesn't just sit and wait. projected income per investor first year will be $xxx to $x,xxx

For those worried I make this promise and guarantee. If your shares don't profit that first year I will 100% buy them back from you. Im very confident in my abilities and those coming aboard that this team will do very well for years to come.

All members will be allowed to vote on names and group decisions. This is a group effort.

If your shares don't profit that first year I will 100% buy them back from you.

Looks like promising :)

Do you accept bitcoin payments?

Initial investment of $200 is ok, how about the next investments? (like, monthly or yearly investment - do you have any approximate numbers?)

Just so everyone is aware if you don't set a payment plan up or do the first initial deposit the next shares are gonna cost more to buy in because we will have a set starting income by then.

Wanted to add some savings we will be utilizing and using to reinvest as well.
1.) discount on domains like $8.50 dot coms and even lil less for renewals.
2.) All domains are to be auctioned off that were not gonna renew.
3.) working on a cashback rewards program as well for even more savings

I would also like to add alot of you missed out on the dot com craze years ago and wish you had not. Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity on the DN Crew launch.

My opinion is the development could be the high priority. First lets say 10 - 20 websites with original content and Adsense accepted. You can get such at about 300 - 500 bucks at Flippa. Than some unique articles should be constantly ordered, I am willing to donate depression.solutions, ALL articles are unique, but there are still 30 too less to be Adsense accepted. I have Bachelors of Biochemistry and some Exams made at theoretical Physics, so I wrote all the articles by myself.

first off the group has all the members it currently needs. I will change the term to crew points since shares seems to be an issue.

Sites not up... We know this we aren't launched till july either. We are working on developing stuff for the income and getting backlinks and stuff. Will be up on launch date for sure.

Day one was a beta test of a few names parked. Did well but we wanna do some work first. gave an idea of stuff. Traffic ended up well month later with thousand plus clicks.

I decide based on stats when i park it. If i see its a lower cpc trend and high traffic I know its better off developed.

Childish game is screaming failure before a launch date. But then again people complain over multiple posts in a row in the breakroom thread.

Shares can be bought back by any member after building phase. we did post that not just a quote of a section of it.

New shares are if we decide to let others in will have to be based on the average share value members earn currently.
lie tube we cant predict there future but they do get 10,000 weekly views and were not even halfway done adding nor linking to them.

do business as name we wanna buy once its launched.

every agreement here is a business agreement s if buying a name off someone on namepros. I screw up i lose decades work simple as that.

Really interesting thread and much needed for the community.

I do have a few questions that are now just generally concerns.

Is this an actual investment group, ie with bylaws, and incorporated as it was stated in the beginning?

Who are the board members who are authorized to make purchase decisions? Or is @baseballworld in charge of it all?

Are there updated financials published? I am assuming they are not independetly audited or visible for club members.

What is the method of communication between group investors? Is there a private group or board? I am surprised this topic is being used for communication.
A simple forum is easy to throw up.

It seems the club investors were not aware of the domains purchased in the club? How does this happen?

This is going to sound stupid.... but I am assuming that all of the money is intermingled with @baseballworld personal assets?

I am not questioning the ability of any member in the group to pick solid domains, buy them cheaply or to sell them for multiples.... BUT I am saying this "club" is being run like amateur hour.

My suggestion, if you have a good track record, bring someone with managerial and financial experience to provide an independent voice and TRANSPARENCY to this venture and then spend ALL of your time on the domain world.

Looking for more investors just flipped a domain lot cost $25.50 for $1,000. this is the stuff you guys can expect. With a 50% reinvest that type of sale in the group would of paid all spots $50 extra on top of regular revenue. $200 initial goes a long way huh.

there is no set value you will get every month per share because our income will vary no 2 months income should be identical. lol

It just keeps growing and growing and growing your not required to reinvest you profits but we are gonna let people do that as well.

any other questions ask im here to help and we have a domain picked for the site for members dncrew.com
we can also have offline connections not just namepros members will be exchanging cellphone numbers to text, etc and skype for foreign members

no one doubting baseball.. he looks nice guy
but np don't work on nice or looks.

it works on proof.

so when you post traffic domain for sale on np, you gotta show traffic pcitures.
that sort of thing.

Few questions

a) Is the group still open at the initial conditions (200$ for 100 shares) ?

b) What do you expect from participants after the initial phase ? Just money from time to time ? Active participation in selecting domain targets ? Active participation to raise additional money ? Tips and suggestions from time to time ?

c) Would you define your project as primarily a training program or an investment club

d) Side question: can I enter as a passive investor. I've read somewhere that you have the right to buy investors out anytime at their cost price (not very fair IMHO, it should rather be at the current net value with some discount for liquidity). What general criteria would you envision to exercice this right ? Note that it would'nt be my objective to be a passive investor.

I shared the same long ago but never received any response from your end.

Just a thought, maybe you should start a closed Facebook group to help you and members communicate and share info.

When you create a Facebook group you can make it Open, Closed or Secret. In an open group anyone can join and everything is viewable by everyone online, including search engines. In a closed group, admins must approve members and only group members can see posted content. Secret groups are, of course, secret.

haven't read your threads in a while.. did you give breakdown or rough idea to non members as of yet as to what kind of money people are making with your project so far? I am sure people here would be interested to know.
